        Representations in The Suffragette trailer                   https://youtu.be/056FI2Pq9RY In the Suffragette trailer men are represented as very dominant. “If we allow woman to vote there will be a loss in social structure” From that piece of Diegetic sound it suggests that Woman were looked down upon and that men were superior. In the mise en scene there was a low angled shot looking up at a factory owner making him seem more powerful as he watched the woman work. This reinforces the stereo types because men are usually seen to be Dominant. The ideology is that men are typically in control but are now being challenged. Also in the trailer women are represented as determined and Strong willed.
